This series of talks was organized by Amélia Frazão-Moreira and
Sónia Mota Ribeiro, as part of the sessions of LAE (Laboratory of
Environmental Anthropology and Behavioral Ecology) of CRIA (Center
for Research in Anthropology). Non-textual methodologies of
ethnographic engagement, queer ecologies, radioactive worlds,
territory and the commons, the anthropology-theatre relationship, and
the use of image in ethnography were discussed. More than obtaining
answers, we sought to broaden the relationships, experiments, and
ideas debated and to imagine new questions about the possible
epistemological and methodological relationships between the
territories of art, anthropology, and environmental studies,
proportionate to the complexity of the ecological crisis associated
with the Anthropocene proposal.
