This fanzine is the result of the discussions that happened during
the five sessions of the series Conversations on Anthropology and
Art in the Anthropocene,
organized by Amélia Frazão-Moreira and myself, Sónia Mota Ribeiro,
as part of the sessions of LAE (Laboratory of Environmental
Anthropology and Behavioral Ecology). The sessions sought to explore
the relationship between anthropology and art in the context of the
environmental crisis, and one of the most salient aspects of the
conversations was the articulation of the ecological and social
complexity of this period with the political and economic causes that
are at its origin. From this observation, and from
the epistemological and sensitive involvement of these sessions, I
created this fragmentary object, a poetic protest of the
Anthropocene.
